When you run a business—or when you are actively preparing to pivot into a brand-new venture like I am—your day-to-day routine relies heavily on a few indispensable tools. Today’s challenge asks us to share the programs or websites we absolutely cannot live without.
Lately, my focus has been on rebuilding, organizing, and learning. To do that successfully, I have come to rely on a mix of creative visual platforms and cutting-edge technology.
Here are the tools currently keeping me sane, inspired, and moving forward:
1. Canva: My Creative Design Studio
Whether I am designing graphics for this blog, creating beautiful social media posts, or mapping out future branding ideas, Canva is an absolute lifesaver. Back when my previous home decor company was flourishing, having clean, professional visuals was everything. Canva makes it easy for anyone to look like a professional graphic designer without needing a tech degree. It keeps my brand looking beautiful and cohesive!
2. AI and ChatGPT: My Ultimate Brainstorming Partner
Stepping into a new business chapter means I am constantly brainstorming new content, looking for fresh angles, and writing daily. ChatGPT and AI have become my favorite digital assistants. Whenever I get stuck on a topic or need help organizing my thoughts for a post, AI helps me break through writer's block instantly. It doesn't replace my voice, but it certainly speeds up the process so I can focus on connecting with all of you!
3. My Blogging Platform: My Virtual Front Porch
A website or blogging platform is the digital home base. It is the place where I can share my journey transparently, archive my ideas, and directly interact with this amazing community. Without a central spot to write and connect, building a business online would feel impossible.
